Does the Mirage Volcano Still Erupt?

The Mirage Hotel and Casino’s infamous volcano will not erupt as it is in the process of getting a facelift for Super Bowl LVIII (48) to be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paramount Pictures is in the process of modifying the attraction to put in its “Signature Snow Covered Mountain” where the volcanic attraction sits now. It is supposed to be an interactive experience based on Paramount’s films and movies.

A Mountain of Fan Experiences

The Paramount attraction, being dubbed “A Mountain of Entertainment” is set light up on February 8, 2024 and continue through Super Bowl Sunday. It is also being presented as an experience for kids, adults and families alike.

Paramount’s “Mountain” activation will feature 10 of its top brands, including CBS Sports, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, and others, offering fans a journey involving shows such from Transformers to the UFEA Campions League.

The “Paramount+ Lodge” will also allow fans to sneak a peeks of upcoming films, while the adventurous can ascend the “Paramount Mountain” via the “Fun-Nuclear Experience,” a thrilling gondola ride with different Paramount characters.

According to reports from the Mirage Hotel, the volcano will be restored to start erupting again once the Paramount attraction is lifted.
